How do I activate my license key?

Open Help > Registration in main menu. Enter your email and the key exactly as it was provided to you in the purchase confirmation email.

How can I transfer my license to another computer?

You should unregister your license on the old computer before installing it on the new one:

1. Open Help > About Program in EZ Contact Book on the old computer.
2. Click the button Unregister License.
3. Confirm the deactivation.
4. You can now register the license on the new computer using the standard activation process.

Will reinstalling my OS void my license?

NO. EZ Contact Book automatically recognizes your hardware using an anonymous fingerprint. If you reinstall Windows or format your drive on the same computer, the software will seamlessly validate your registration without requiring an extra license seat.

What if my computer crashed and I cannot unregister?

If a hardware failure prevents you from unregistering on an old PC when moving to a brand-new computer, contact our support team with your order confirmation or purchase details. We can manually reset your activation record so you can activate your new device.

How can I check how many activations I have left?

To check your remaining activations:

1. Open Help > About Program in EZ Contact Book.
2. Click the button License Information.
