Send Emails
EZ Contact Book integrates with any default email program installed on your computer, such as Microsoft Mail, Outlook, or Thunderbird.
Important
The default email program must be installed and properly configured on your system for this feature to work.
Note
- The button will be disabled when the selected contact(s) do not have any email addresses listed.
- This feature will not work if you access your email account directly from a web browser and do not have a dedicated email program installed on your computer.
Single Email
To send an email to a single contact:
- Click the button in the toolbar, or
- Click the hyperlink in the Contact Details panel.
Your default email program will open with the recipient's email address automatically filled in the To: field.
Group Email
If the selected contact has multiple email addresses, or if you have selected a group of contacts with emails, the following dialog will appear:

- Use the Email Types filter to include only Personal, Business, or ALL email addresses.
- Any unchecked emails will not be included in the final recipient list.
- You can choose to send emails using the To, Cc (carbon copy), or Bcc (blind carbon copy) fields.
Click OK, and your email program will open with all the selected email addresses ready for delivery.
