Sort and Search Contacts

Sort Data by Columns

Contacts are sorted alphabetically by Name in ascending order by default. To sort by any column, click the column title. Clicking the same column title again reverses the sort order.

The Wildcard search is fast and simple — it allows you to type any part of a word or number, and the program will search across the entire contacts table. Your search entry will appear in the Search box on the top panel.

The program dynamically narrows down search results as you type.

The search works regardless of whether the text appears at the beginning, middle, or end of any data field, including fields that are nor currently not displayed in the table. Matches are highlighted to help you locate the records.

If a contact is not found within a selected group, try searching the entire book by selecting top-level Groups entry.

To clear the search result, press ESC key.
